Reproductive health of the nation is of special interest for each country. Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are widespread in the world. STDs affect the reproductive health of men and women, and two thirds of all STDs occur in people younger than 25 years. Most often, STDs do not cause any symptoms, especially among women, exceeding the chronic form and lead to serious health problems. Some STDs can cause pelvic infections that can cause damage to reproductive organs, which in turn, can cause ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy outside the uterus), infertility in women and cervical cancer. STDs can be transmitted from mother to child before, during or after birth.

STDs attack the reproductive organs of males as well and represent the major cause of male infertility in recent years.
